New Artist: Tchalé Figueira
We're pleased to welcome Tchalé Figueira (born Carlos Alberto Figueira in 1953, in Mindelo, on the island of São Vicente, Cape Verde) to the gallery. Born into a family of artists, Figueira returned to Cape Verde in 1985 and established the Ponta D'Praia Atelier in Mindelo, which he has run ever since.
His practice extends beyond painting into poetry, published writing and music, and his available paintings can now be viewed in his gallery.
